This task focuses on discovering items from a garbage can to be creatively manipulated to form a visually appealing composition. The project utilized manual and digital techniques; materials were photographed, cut, sliced, and measured before editing in Photoshop. For the first poster, I found a Japanese plastic cap and used a plastic bottle label as the background. The second composition uses an empty can of an Asian drink.

For the first design, the canvas was divided into sections, with each section containing a cluster of bottle caps that are rotated in increments of 5 degrees, starting from the top-left sector (square). The second composition is, for the most part, an exercise of pattern-making. Both designs aim to convey a sense of movement, as each element is positioned at a unique angle and size. The elements for this poster were photographed with an iPhone 15.
