For this assignment, the objective was to observe, identify, and document the diverse typographic classifications present in my surroundings, whether in public spaces or within the comfort of my home. I chose to concentrate on my home environment for this project, believing it would offer a rich variety of examples.

During my exploration, I examined an array of items including packaging from everyday products, magazines featuring various styles of text, unique objects with distinct typography, and books that showcase different font families and layouts. Each of these categories revealed fascinating typographic characteristics that contributed to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the items.

I meticulously photographed each item, paying close attention to the details of the typefaces, their sizes, weights, and the contexts in which they were used. These photographs were then compiled into engaging compositions that highlight the nuances of typography.

The ultimate goal was to design a book that not only presented these typographic elements but also exuded sophistication. I aimed to create an interesting layout that complemented the typography, carefully balancing visual appeal with clarity. Through this process, I felt inspired by the power of typography to influence perception and communication, and I hope that my final book reflects this exploration in a compelling manner.
